Electrical Maintenance Technician Job We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and commissioning electrical equipment such as motors, motor control centers, medium voltage switchgear, instrumentation equipment, communication networks, and other electrical equipment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Journeyperson Electrical with interprovincial certification and minimum 4 years of related industrial experience. Effective verbal and written communication skills, above-average analytical skills, and attention to detail. A valid driver''s license, which will be verified with a driver''s abstract check prior to hire. We also require that you undergo various background screening, including a 5-year driving record, criminal check, and company-sponsored medical and drug testing. You will also maintain, repair, and troubleshoot our pipeline systems electrical equipment, including substation equipment, medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, communication networks, and instrumentation systems. This position requires climbing, bending, lifting, standing, and crouching on a repetitive basis. Daily travel is required within the area, with occasional travel within Canada. Schedule: Monday Friday with an on-call rotation. Emergency response and overtime may be required.
