TalentCompass is currently looking for Journeyman Millwrights and Welders for a client based in Dawson Creek, BC. This is a permanent onsite role and relocation is required for the role. Relocation assistance will be provided for the successful candidate. Shift Schedule is 10 hours per day, Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities Maintains, repairs, installs, assembles and modifies equipment Lubrication of machinery, seal replacement, cleaning of parts during overhauls and preventative maintenance. Reads and creates blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Enter work requests and order parts and materials with CMMS Install, repair and maintain airlines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Maintain and monitor equipment using predictive and preventive techniques. (Vibration analysis, stethoscopes, strobe lights and thermal imaging.) Troubleshoot electrical problems, make decisions necessary to repair, and restore equipment to design specifications. Perform electrical tests using megger, OHM meter, and other test equipment. Perform work utilizing prints and/or computer logic. Perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions. Make process control changes. Read wiring and circuit diagrams. Qualifications: Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Minimum of 3 years of Industrial Experience Knowledge of equipment maintenance. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, climb, bend, stoop, squat and lift. Ability to work in confined spaces and at substantial heights Ability to work in a team environment Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills. Good communication, interpersonal skills and writing skills.
