KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP IS-U billing processes, including end to end rate configuration, schema design operand setup and billing master data Lead the billing workstream for SAP IS-U projects, ensuring delivery of high quality solutions aligned ith business requirements and industry best practices Analyze and resolve complex billing-related production issues, working closely with business users and technical teams Review and recommend best practices for billing configuration, schema design, and billing master data maintenance (rate categories, variants, rate types etc.) Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Device management, FICA, CRM etc) to ensure seamless integration and consistency across modules Support and design the testing of new rates and billing scenarios including TOU (Time-of-use) tiered, seasonal and promotional rates Lead and support regression testing and impact analysis for changes to billing configuration or enhancements Document functional specifications, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and client business users REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP IS-U Billing with a strong focus on rate configuration, billing schema design and billing master data Proven track record of leading billing implementations or enhancement projects as s team lead or functional SME In-depth understanding of rate components, operands, rate categories, variants, rate types, billing classes and schema enhancements Experience in resolving production issues related to billing calculations, incorrect invoicing, or master data anomalies Strong knowledge of SAP IS-U integration points with Device Management, FICA and CRM Ability to design scalable and maintainable billing solutions aligned with utility industry best practices Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
