You’ll lead the resolution of complex technical challenges, mentor team members, and contribute to the creation of high-quality, culturally resonant designs. There is also the opportunity to take on project management responsibilities if desired.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct technical reviews of architectural and consultant drawings, providing detailed mark-ups and feedback.Lead the resolution of technical challenges through collaboration, code research, and application of architectural experience.Produce high-quality architectural designs, including drawings, details, and specifications.Participate in design meetings with clients and consultants.Mentor and support team members, including project managers and architectural designers.Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.Perform architectural calculations and design analysis as needed.(Optional) Manage projects and teams, overseeing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.What You’ll Need to SucceedMinimum 10 years of architectural experience, with at least 5 years using AutoCAD and Revit.Master’s degree in Architecture.Registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve technical issues.Proficient in interpreting and applying building codes and bylaws.Skilled in producing accurate and detailed construction drawings.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Experience in wood design and construction is an asset.Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.What You’ll Get in ReturnThe chance to work on culturally meaningful and environmentally conscious projects.A collaborative and supportive team environment that values mentorship and professional growth.Opportunities to lead and manage projects, with flexibility to shape your role.Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.A workplace that values creativity, innovation, and community impact.Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 (Compensation based on experience, skillset, and qualifications)
