Job Title: Digitization Transformation Specialist (Intermediate)Location: Brampton, ON L6T 4B9 Duration: 12 Months Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)Role Overview:The Region of Peel is seeking a Digitization Transformation Specialist to support the implementation of its Digitization-as-a-Service (DaaS) program. The successful candidate will lead the design and execution of digitization frameworks to transition the organizations paper-based records into electronic formats. This role is pivotal to enabling digital transformation and achieving sustainability goals through paper reduction and optimized digital workflows.Key Responsibilities:Program Implementation:Develop and implement intake processes including:Intake formsService tracking mechanismsService request reporting systemsDesign digitization workflows for:Small and medium volume batchesLarge volume batch coordinationSupport the launch and operations of the dedicated DaaS Program OfficeDaaS Program Objectives:Offer centralized scan-on-demand services across departmentsPromote eco-friendly and standardized digitization practicesManage internal resources and external vendor partnershipsDrive cultural change toward digital-first operationsContribute to the Regions paperless and green initiativesProject Stages & Deliverables:Stage 1: Establish Program FoundationsInitiate RFP for scanning 1100 boxes of contentDesign and launch the DaaS Program OfficeCreate and implement quality control and intake proceduresEstablish cost structure in collaboration with FinanceStage 2: Launch Small & Medium ServicesEstablish SLAs with two internal partnersDesign DIY scanning process using Multi-Function Devices (MFDs)Stage 3: Full-Scale DeploymentFinalize procurement for external vendorsRoll out digitization services to all departmentsImplement centralized monitoring and reporting systemsRefine processes based on feedback for long-term sustainabilityRequired Qualifications & Experience:Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or related field (certificate required)Certifications (Mandatory):AIIM Enterprise Content Management Practitioner or higher (certificate required)Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (certificate required)PROSCI Change Management Certificate (certificate required)AIIM Membership: Must provide proof of good standing via one or more of the following:Membership card or active status screenshotCourse completions with AIIMMentorship/coaching experience in Intelligent Information ManagementVolunteer work or speaking engagements with AIIMTechnical & Professional Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsProven analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional customer service orientationProficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, especially:Power AutomatePower AppsSharePointExperience implementing document digitization strategies using information management best practices
