We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Data Analyst to join the Sustainability and Business Intelligence team. As a ProdView system administrator, they will support field operations with day-to-day troubleshooting and operations with production data analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and soft skills with the ability to provide high quality field data administration and reporting services. Field Data Capture Program Administrator: Configure, maintain and provide end-user support for our Field Data Capture system ProdView. Work with office and field staff to ensure accurate volumetric reporting for production and sales volumes. Coordinating and administering oil and gas sample scheduling, validation, and distribution processes to ensure compliance with both internal processes, and external Alberta and Saskatchewan regulatory protocols. Field Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, process, and analyze operational and performance data from field operations to support data-based decision making. Data Integrity & Quality Control: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data from field operations. Conduct quality checks on data collection methods and sources to ensure the reliability of reports and insights. Business Intelligence & Reporting: Utilize Power BI and other business intelligence tools to create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations that aid in decision-making processes. Work closely and build strong partnerships with field operations, engineering, production accounting, sustainability and information services teams to ensure alignment of field data analysis with business objectives. Identify opportunities to enhance data collection methods, streamline reporting processes, and improve the overall operations analytics framework. Post secondary education in a related field. Ideally 10 years of related experience within the oil & gas industry including working knowledge of ProdView for field data capture. Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and SQL. Previous involvement in administrating, implementing or supporting field data capture systems is an asset. Experience with using and analyzing ProTrend, Petrinex, PVR and Prodman data sets. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills with a commitment to providing a positive user experience. Clear and concise verbal and written communication including providing user training.
