Sales and Account Management Opportunity This role presents a unique chance for a sales professional to drive business growth and expansion. As a Sales and Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key clients, and identifying new opportunities for revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Include: Promote sales plans and strategies for business and revenue growth; expand customer base. Develop a thorough understanding of clients'' needs and requirements, preparing customized solutions. Research and tailor presentations of new products according to timelines and business plans/goals. Determine product pricing and development strategy with manager. Handle customer escalations and close loop on outstanding issues for customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge about relevant product categories (competitive products and their pricing, new innovations, industry challenges, etc.). Negotiate contracts with key clients and meet established deadlines for long-term goals fulfillment. Assist with forecasting and manage sell-thru process. Provide regular sales reporting to manager and executive team. Perform research through consumer feedback, customer views, and analysis of sales data for overall marketing plan development. Arrange participation in trade shows. Research competitor products, pricing, marketing content, and strategies. Provide valuable feedback to product manufacturers for improvement as required. Plan launch events for new products. Analyze e-commerce sales data and provide feedback to external marketing for support. Actively update required product information on channel partner portals for existing and new items. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess: 2-5 years of experience in sales roles for consumer goods (diploma/degree in sales/marketing/business preferred). Experience in B2B sales at Tier 1 level with a passion for understanding customer problems and devising solutions. Goal-oriented and proven success in achieving sales targets. Deep understanding of sales methods and channels through which products are marketed and ability to successfully analyze data for growth and success planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels. Clear understanding of business basics - product life cycle, revenue projections, business metrics, financial planning, etc. Own vehicle for occasional travel to customer locations or trade events. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Photoshop. Experience in the sporting goods industry is a strong asset.
