Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Business Development will be primarily responsible for developing opportunities that support our growth objectives in the healthcare sector. This strategic role focuses on modernizing business processes by optimizing, through AI, existing workforce management technologies. Whether it''s demand prediction and optimal resource allocation, skills management and training, recruitment, or prevention of workplace-related risks, the healthcare sector faces numerous challenges. The Director acts as a catalyst, turning complex challenges into tangible commercial successes and impactful partnerships for our clients. Business Development and Sales Drive growth in targeted sectors by developing a pipeline of qualified opportunities Orchestrate the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, using CRM tools to maximize efficiency Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and key events while collaborating with the marketing team to amplify brand visibility. Develop relationships and collaborate with public, parapublic, and private stakeholders to respond to technology RFPs Proactively track government procurement platforms (OTP/MERX) with organizations like Ontario Health, Local Health Integration Networks, public hospitals, and public health agencies for digital transformation projects, human resources optimization, and management system modernization Cultivate relationships with the academic community to influence R&D and co-create and offer innovative solutions to target markets Maintain strategic intelligence on technology trends and AI market evolution to anticipate future needs and maintain our competitive edge in the AI market Lead collaboration with the technical-commercial team throughout the sales cycle Quantify ROI by measuring concrete impact on human and operational performance Document learnings and best practices to enrich our commercial approach 7 to 12 years of experience in complex B2B sales and/or strategic partnerships, ideally in SaaS, AI, or technology applied to healthcare ~ Solid background in the healthcare and/or life sciences sectors ~ Established network with organizations like Ontario Health, Ontario Hospital Association (OHA), major hospital centers (UHN, Unity Health, Trillium Health Partners), LHINs, and/or public health agencies in major cities ~ Understanding of healthcare-specific regulations, including accreditation standards, Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), clinical compliance requirements, and health data governance frameworks ~ Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset ~ Proven skills in negotiation, relationship management, and strategic account management ~ Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot or equivalent) and pipeline management processes ~ Strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI applied to healthcare and organizational performance challenges ~ Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong team collaboration ~ Flexible schedule: 5-day workweek to support balance and performance Health and dental care, vision care, numerous professional services (psychologist, massage therapy, physio, etc.), Direct relationship with the CEO, team of recognized industry leaders, and a culture where commercial excellence is valued and rewarded
