SENIOR SERVER SPECIALISTOur Edmonton based client is looking for Senior Server Specialist with Cyber Security experience to join their team.EXPERIENCE:Cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection and mitigation strategiesKnowledge of data centers and associated server supportFamiliarity with storage and network technologiesMS Azure infrastructure servicesVMware and HyperV for both Server and Desktop VirtualizationDesign and implementation of disaster recovery with cloud infrastructureMigrating on-prem infrastructure to a cloud Hybrid DR environmentAdministrating various Red Hat and Ubuntu based Linux DistributionsLeadership and Mentorship responsibilities Driving design/architecture would be a nice to have REQUIREMENTS:Degree or Diploma in Information Systems7+ years of experience supporting servers and related infrastructure in cloud and on-premise environmentsMicrosoft Windows Server (2016 / 2019/ 2022 / 2025)Automation tools (Azure Automation or Ansible)MCSA/MCSE certification are an assetCISSP Certification highly desirable3 month contract to start (high possibility of extensions)Rate: $80/hour for an Incorporated consultantHybrid work model: 3 days/week in office (Tues.-Thurs.)If youre interested, please reply with your resume.I will be in contact quickly with additional information and next steps.I hope to hear from you soon.All the very best,
