Job Title: Business Systems AnalystLocation: Hybrid Vancouver, 2 days in the officeContract: 6-months Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a large retail client based in Vancouver, BC, on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will oversee the entire order domain, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. They will delve into the details of the order management system, which is embedded in SAP, to ensure accurate data mapping and seamless integration with other systems. This includes managing the integration of the return system and mapping data between systems, as well as handling API integrations for the reverse logic Narvar return system.The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for writing and running automated scripts to streamline processes and improve system functionality. They will work closely with various stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications. This role requires a strong technical background, particularly in e-commerce and retail environments, with a deep understanding of payment systems.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex integrations and a proven track record of optimizing order management systems. They will leverage their expertise to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that the system operates efficiently and meets the needs of the business. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Must Haves: 5 + years experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Support AnalystOrder Management experience and reverse logic experience (return systems such as Narvar) in a retail environmentFamiliar working in an environment with API’s, Microservices and cloud services experienceEcommerce and Payment experience within retail domainTechnical background and competency with API integrations, and running automated test scriptsDesire to progress into Product Management role in their futurePlusses: Technical background writing integration scriptsExperience with Narvar for reverse logic (returns)
