Job Description

Parts Manager Our client is searching for a Parts Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for organization, control, and optimization of inventory used in the manufacturing and servicing processes. A successful candidate will have a strong background in inventory management within a manufacturing environment. Your success will be defined by your ability to: Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including tracking, organization and reconciliation of parts Collaborate closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate inventory data for purchasing decisions Coordinate with production, service and engineering teams to forecast parts needs and maintain optimal stock levels Implement and maintain ERP systems and inventory management tools to improve accuracy and efficiency Monitor and report on inventory performance, usage trends, and discrepancies Supervise the receiving, storage, and internal distribution of parts Maintain detailed records of parts movement, costs and supplier performance metrics Lead and mentor a team of parts coordinators and warehouse staff Ensure compliance with safety, quality and organizational standards Your strengths include: 5+ years of experience in inventory or parts management within a manufacturing or automotive setting Post Secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred Strong knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control software such as SAP, Epicor or similar Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail Effective communication and leadership abilities Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand manufacturing workflows Experience in aluminum or metal fabrication environments is an asset
