Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Rebuilder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rebuilding transmissions, differential units, clutches and other drivetrain components. The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling unit components, washing and inspecting parts, preparing parts for reassembly, and painting and cleaning parts. They will also be required to reassemble units, assign serial numbers, pull new parts from inventory, and complete necessary paperwork. Responsibilities Include: Disassemble unit components ;Transmission and Driveline specific Wash parts, inspect parts, prep parts and discard all damaged parts Prepare list of required replacement parts for the work order Paint and clean parts Reassemble and assign serial number to unit Pull new parts from inventory and complete the appropriate paperwork Tag units as required Submit work order for invoicing Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards Perform other duties as needed Successful Transmission Rebuilders Will Have: One year of transmission rebuild experience within the heavy-duty industry Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs Valid driver''s license and/or CDL with good driving record This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team and contribute to our continued success. The associate will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist devices. The associate will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift. The associate will frequently be required to walk, bend, twist, step, stoop, reach, lift, push, and climb. The associate will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities. Work Environment: The associate will be regularly exposed to typical inside and outside environmental conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances. Exposure to hazards or physical risks associated with a warehouse, vehicle services, and retail operations which require following basic safety precautions.
