Job Description

Job Overview The Site Supervisor Teacher is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a designated childcare facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing and enhancing programs, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for children. Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning with students, parents, and staff. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Develop and enhance programs with an entrepreneurial focus. Support Lead Teachers in designing and executing learning programs tailored to children''s developmental needs. Monitor inventory and make purchases within budget or submit requests for approval. Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff and monitor performance. Collaborate with other Site Supervisors and serve as a liaison between site staff and head office. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: An Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Demonstrated experience in overseeing educational institution operations, preferably in childcare or daycare settings. Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment. Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, How Does Learning Happen, and ELEC document.
