Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide mentorship to employees while delivering driver training in the classroom and on location. The Driver Trainer will conduct effective behind-the-wheel instruction, providing training in various courses necessary for Sanjel employees. They will actively coach and mentor safe driving behaviour, complete driver assessments and inspections, and ensure all training vehicles meet mechanical, equipment, and documentation requirements. Key Responsibilities: Actively coach and mentor safe driving behaviour Complete driver assessments and inspections Instruct and audit pre-trip preparation and logbook training Provide ongoing and personalized coaching Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a current Class 1 Driver''s License and a clean abstract with a minimum of 5 years driving experience. They will also possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a driver trainer, preferably in Oil and Gas or Heavy Industrial sectors. A comprehensive knowledge of oilfield transportation equipment and Hours-of-Service regulations is essential. They will also generate, review, and submit driver training progress reports, track individual driver development, and make recommendations for improvement.
