Job Title: Business Systems ConsultantJob Type: ContractLocation: HybridJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Systems Consultant to support a large-scale transformation initiative within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will contribute to IT modernization, with a strong focus on enhancing data and analytics platforms and improving digital client experiences.This role requires deep business and technical analysis capabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid, collaborative environment with stakeholders across multiple time zones.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and define future-state capabilities.Analyze and document business and data requirements, user stories, epics, and data mapping artifacts.Support the design and build of a scalable data and analytics platform tailored for high-net-worth client segments.Identify new data acquisition opportunities and optimize the use of existing data assets.Document system and process impacts, focusing on integration across business and technical layers.Participate in validation and testing phases to ensure end-to-end alignment.Assist in business rollout and change adoption of newly developed capabilities.Qualifications:5–10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Consultant using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Strong background in data initiatives including data analysis, modeling, and integration.Previous experience in financial services or insurance, ideally in high-net-worth client environments.Experience supporting modernization initiatives and working with digital platforms.Understanding of data governance, privacy, compliance, and security best practices.Familiarity with AWS Data Services is an asset.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across functional teams.Comfortable working in ambiguous or evolving environments.
