IntroductionWe are currently hiring a Surgical Sales Representative to manage the Montreal and the South Shore territory of our client, a leading wholesale distributer that specializes in surgical instruments. These include minimally invasive surgery tools, endoscopy, ophthalmology and many other products for hospitals. Previous Surgical or Hospital sales is required.ResponsibilitiesThe Surgical Sales Representative will report to our District Manager in Montreal and will have the following responsibilitiesStrategically manage a large territory, which will require regular travel, including 23 days in a hotel each monthSet territory goals and develop action plans to achieve growth objectivesProtect existing business and seek opportunities to expand the territory using innovative sales and marketing techniquesNegotiate pricing effectively while balancing a variety of conflicting interestsConfidently introduce new products and provide detailed information about existing productsDevelop and maintain strong professional relationships with customersRespond promptly and satisfactorily to customer inquiriesContribute positively to the sales team through conference calls and regular communicationComplete sales reports in a timely manner and respond quickly to requests from head officeMaintain sample inventory in good condition and track its movement accuratelyEducate oneself on materials related to the position, products, and industryManage expenses appropriately while striving to minimize extraneous costsRepresent ethically and professionally at all timesRequirements2-3 years of related experience in medical/surgical sales with strong customer relationshipsExcellent verbal and written French communication skills Entrepreneurial attitude with a focus on customer serviceLeadership experience and a willingness to mentor and train othersAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat We OfferWhy apply through Brunel?
