Assist with project schedule preparation o Project manager develops / updates schedule with inputs from lead EngineersPrepare mechanical design reports during project development o FEL 1 / 2 / 3 Engineering stages. Participate / contribute during hazards and operability reviews o PHAs, HAZOPs, process safety checklists reviewsPrepare mechanical construction work packages during detail Engineering o Perform stress analysis of static equipment, identify required piping supports o Prepare datasheets for rotating equipmentCo-ordinate TSSA registrations o Piping addendums / CRNs for both CapEX and Maintenance groups. Provide construction support o respond to mechanical field RFIsAssist with project closure o Ensure As-Built document preparation by mechanical drafters o Initiate spare parts creation / modification / deletionAssist with developing / revising in-house mechanical Engineering standards. Maintain Engineering stock catalog o All pipe + fitting materials used in operating plantsInteract with a multi-discipline Engineer & designer project team. Lead / mentor junior mechanical EngineersFocus on maintaining / building Production Plant relationshipsSuccessful candidates will have:5 to 10 years practical project experience with: o Static equipment Piping / vessel specifications, ASME B31.3 and Pressure Piping Code Welding and join design, fit-for-service assessments Caesar II / Compress software for stress analysis o Rotating equipment Pumps / compressors / fans o HVAC equipment NOTE: some familiarity is acceptable o Mechanical material requisitions o Construction Work Packages (CWPs)Familiarity with Operating Procedures / Maintenance PlansEngineering Undergraduate Degree o P.Eng license in Ontario preferredAbility to interact / communicate with all stakeholders of the project team, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple complicated tasks with under pressureDemonstrated team leadership experience within the oil and gas industry (EPCM) with excellent knowledge of engineering protocolsExperience in brownfield design an assetStrong computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, SAP, various databasesTotal rewards:Competitive compensation1 year contract with potential extensionFully office roleInterested?Please apply directly online
