We are seeking a talented Software QA Engineer to join the Fusion Electronics team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.Electronics form the foundation of Mechatronics design for Autodesk Fusion. The Fusion Electronics workspace enhances Fusion's capabilities to create Mechatronics designs, thereby improving users' experience. We kindly request that you come to the office 3 to 4 times per week as well as part of our QA's team works together in the office.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute detailed manual test cases for new features of Fusion electronicsIdentify, document and prioritize defects with clear stepsCreate test design and cases for new features base on the product designContribute to regression testing of end-to-end workflowsCollaborate with software developers to troubleshoot issues related to electronics design modulesCommunicate with stakeholders and teams about test strategies, test planning, status and risksCollaborate with the extended team of software engineers, product designers and quality assurance engineers across worldwide teamsTest workflows and user experience for tools' interoperabilityMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Electrical or Automation relate field1+ years of software testing experience or EDA/PCB design experience or internships related to the fieldSolid domain knowledge in PCB design and Electronics designEmbrace changes and can work under pressure.Passion to improve product qualityUnderstand the software QA methodologies and software development processPreferred QualificationsExperience in Eagle, Altium Design, Cadence or other PCB/Electronics Design softwareExperience in Allegro or other Library Design softwarePCB design and manufacturing experience is a plusExperience in Fusion or other 3D Design softwareExperience in automation testing, performance testing or security testingLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
