Hello! We are a professional couple seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and friendly individual for a unique, long-term role. We travel frequently and are looking to build a trusted relationship with someone who can help manage our home when we''re here (1-2 days a week) and provide loving, overnight care for our cats when we''re away. This is a flexible position that combines house management, personal assistance, and cat sitting. We are ideally looking to find one person to become a key part of our household, but we are open to discussing the roles separately for the right candidate(s). What the Role Involves: Your duties would be split between regular weekly assistance and care during our travels. House Manager / Personal Assistant Duties (1-2 Days/Week): - General Tidying & Housekeeping: Keeping the home orderly, making beds, changing linens, etc. - Deep Cleaning: Thoroughly cleaning the home on a regular basis, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and disinfecting kitchens and bathrooms. - Household Support: Assisting with ironing, light meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed. - Property Upkeep: Helping with light gardening, watering plants, and occasional snow shoveling during the winter months when we are away. Overnight Cat Sitter Duties (When We Travel): - Provide dedicated, live-in care for our beloved cats at our home. - This includes feeding, fresh water, cleaning the litter box, and providing plenty of companionship. - You would also handle the general house management tasks during your stay to ensure the home remains tidy. Who We''re Looking For (Our Ideal Candidate): We are looking for a mature, responsible, and proactive individual who takes pride in their work. The perfect fit would be: - A genuine cat lover who doesn''t currently have their own pets. - An experienced house keeper - A non-smoker with a quiet and respectful lifestyle. - Highly organized, trustworthy, and able to manage tasks independently. - Someone with a flexible schedule, perhaps who works from home, would find this role complements their lifestyle well. The Essentials (Requirements): - Must have a valid driver''s license and your own reliable vehicle. - Verifiable professional references are required. - Must be willing to undergo a complete criminal record check. - We maintain a strict no smoking, no drugs, and no outside guests policy on our property.
