If hired, youll work for one of our dynamic teams: Aboriginal and Constitutional Law Team Agriculture and Forestry; Arts, Culture and Status of Women; Indigenous Relations; Treasury Board and Finance Team Childrens Services; Seniors, Community and Social Services Team Education; Municipal Affairs; Service Alberta Team Employment and Labour Law Team Energy Law Team Environmental Law Team Family and Surrogate Court Litigation Team Health Law Team Infrastructure and Transportation Law Team JusticeLaw Team Legislative Counsel Office Litigation Team Civil law recruitment Our positions are filled using this process: We interview students according to the rules set by the Law Society of Alberta. We hire first-year students in the winter and second-year students in the fall. The Divisions summer student program is designed to be flexible. Successful candidates will be given the choice of the following locations for summer employment: Calgary Rural and Regional Response Edmonton Edmonton Rural and Regional Response Fort McMurray Hinton Lethbridge Peace River Slave Lake St. Paul Its also possible for students to gain exposure to different types of prosecutions by working in more than one location during the program. The positions are split between first-year and second-year students.
