Electrical Engineer & Project Manager My client is a fully integrated development and construction firm that specialize in both new and renewal construction across residential multi-family and ICI projects. They are currently looking to add a Electrical Engineer and Project Manager to the team. The company has been in operation for over 20 years, in that time they have built a solid reputation to deliver high quality design-build approach projects for their clients. Role They are currently looking to add an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager to the renewals division. This team focuses on the project ranging from $100,000 - $30M. In this role you will be expected to take the lead on the conceptual and detailed drawings of all the electrical systems in the building. Then you will manage the electrical portion of the project in conjunction with the rest of the team, other duties would include: Guide and collaborate with project teams throughout the full lifecycle, including overseeing project planning, managing contracts, and conducting site inspections during construction Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering quality service and maintaining clear, consistent communication, while incorporating client input Partner with the Sector Director to identify and pursue growth opportunities with both new and current clients Inspect and evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and develop comprehensive assessment reports Offer expert advice and consultation to clients regarding electrical engineering elements of specific projects Work across a variety of building-related electrical systems such as power supply, lighting, emergency systems, and wireless communication (RF/WiFi) technologies, assessing their functionality Assess system performance and confirm that solutions meet client expectations and project goals Enhance technical expertise continuously and provide engineering services that reflect both client needs and industry standards Carry out peer reviews and validate technical documents, designs, and reports for accuracy and quality Take on other relevant tasks as needed to contribute to the successful delivery of projects and organizational goals Requirements Must be registered as a P.Eng in Electrical Engineering and registered with EGBC A minimum of 3 years in an P.Eng electrical engineering role Have project management experience or comfortable being client facing and a point of contact for the project Have a detailed understanding of electrical systems in BC including detailed design drawings, tender packages, budgets, shop drawings and commissioning phases. Working knowledge of BC building codes and national building codes Strong communicator and confident dealing with clients Compensation Salary range of $100,000 -$130,000 depending upon experience Vacation Medical and dental benefits RRSP matching Park parking Personal days
