Our successful candidates will be energetic leaders with well-developed communication skills. Being highly organized, professional, and capable of solving problems independently will be essential to success. Our candidates will use their industry experience to deliver NAITs curriculum to satisfy course objectives. **Contract Instruction Deliverables:** * Training on instructional delivery will be provided to the right candidate * Delivering theory and shop instruction to students at the hobbyist and pre-apprenticeship levels * Preparation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and shop facilities for instructional purposes * Preparation of learning resources and course materials * Organization and supervision of practical assignments and assessments * Conducting student evaluations and submitting grades * Collaborating with course administrators to ensure positive student experiences * Maintaining inventory of shop supplies and requesting items to restock * Presenting course material professionally * Maintaining a safe environment at all times **Qualifications:** * Certified journeyperson or master (preferred) welder * Previous instructional experience would be an asset * Flexible schedule as operational needs require Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS). *For those individuals who have held previous contracts with NAIT, please ensure that you re-submit your expression of interest through this process for further consideration.* *Please submit a resume and cover letter to be considered for this opportunity.* **About NAIT** We are proud to have been named one of Albertas Top Employers for 14 consecutive years.
