We are seeking Auxiliary Instructors to support students for our Robotics related programs This role mainly involves covering instructor absences as needed. If youre passionate about teaching learners aged 912 and 1318, this is the perfect opportunity for you! **Courses that you could possibly teach are:** * Lego Robotics * Drone Engineering with Python * Build your own computer with Raspberry Pi ***Instructors must be able to work from 9am-3pm, from July-August at SAIT*** **Whats in it for you?** * Future Opportunities: Our auxiliary list is a key pipeline for identifying candidates for other teaching positions * Full Day Rate: ***$300*** * Integral member of a fast-growing company and Instructor team * Part-time/contractor set up so you can also have other projects on the go * Instructor training and professional development * Community of instructors and educators to connect with and learn from **Key Responsibilities** * Lead engaging and comprehensive classroom sessions with teen learners following the course curriculum * Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to students as they ideate, develop, and iterate on their chatbot project. * Showcase proficiency in Unreal Engine/Unity and Block-based coding tools * Share real-world experiences, case studies, and insights to offer students a holistic understanding of the field. * Grade assessments that accurately measure student understanding and progress within the course. **Role Requirements** * Bachelor''s degree or final year studies in Computer Science, or graduate of Circuit Stream Software Development Bootcamps * Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C++ * Working with sensors, motors, and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO SPIKE) * Robotics platforms and tools (e.g., LEGO SPIKE Prime, VEX, or similar) * Troubleshooting hardware and software issues * Explaining technical concepts to youth in an engaging and age-appropriate way * Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
