We have an immediate opening for a Branch Manager in our Milton, ON branch The Branch Manager reports to the Regional General Manager and is responsible for effective management of the overall operations of the branch including managing all employees, overseeing all areas of branch operations, and achievement of sales goals and targets. **Responsibilities:** **People Management** * Effective people management practices including with day to day issues including attendance, payroll change submission * Conducting performance evaluations for all employees (PIP) * Ensuring staffing levels are maintained including recruiting for open positions **Branch Management** * Manage branch inventory, ordering all required products * Source new suppliers for products when required * Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers * Oversee the operation in the warehouse, wheel manufacturing/assembly and order desk * Ensure order desk has up to date product pricing * Provide assistance and backup in all functions in the branch in order to ensure all areas have the necessary coverage * Manage branch safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance * Manage building maintenance, equipment maintenance, equipment inspection and certification * Effectively communicate with other branches and head office * Process all applicable paperwork including coding invoices, part numbers are assigned to all products * Manage and set sales goals and targets for the branch **Sales & Service** * Manage existing client relationships with regular communication and regular on site visits to foster and develop further sales and growth with customers * Source out new leads for clients for sales team * Ensure new clients receive a timely on site visit once contact has been made * Set up of new clients including facilitating the completion of the credit application and forwarding to Head Office for review and approval * Achieve sales targets set for assigned sales area **Education:** * Completed post secondary education in a technical or mechanical field of study or equivalent experience **Other Skills & Abilities** * 3-5 years in a management/supervisory role * Minimum 7-10 years experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment * Intermediate level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) * Welding and tire experience an asset * Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset * Previous experience using MSFT Dynamics CRM an asset * Self-directed, resourceful, motivated, results oriented * Solid Customer service skills and excellent at building relationships * Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal appropriately with sensitive issues * Superior time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment * Excellent interpersonal, communications and relationship management skills * Excellent organizational skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to work independently or in a team * Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure * Sound judgment and decision making ability **Benefits** ------------ * Advancement Opportunities * Great company culture * Family owned with Family values * RRSP Program * Performance Incentive Program * Competitive wages * Company paid events * Gift cards * Extended health coverage * Dental & Vision care * Travel Medical insurance * Employee assistance program * Life Insurance / Accidental Death *We would like to take this opportunity to thank all applicants in advance; however, only those short-listed will be contacted*
