Regular scheduled maintenance activities (Oil fill-up, equipment cleaning, replacing filters, changing valves, motor windings service etc.). * Failure analysis based on equipment history. * Monitoring and predicting equipment condition - condition based maintenance. Estimation of equipment condition - based on vibration testing, detailed inspection and instrument readings, etc. * Co-ordination with other departments for specialized repair services. * Forecasting for spares and consumables - all service needs. * Assist with Safety inspections and audits as required. * May include facility maintenance as required. * All other related duties as assigned. **Requirements:** * Strong electrical and mechanical foundation working with Mazak, Doosan and Haas mills and lathes a must. * 2-5 years experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance or an apprentice. * Post-Secondary training or education in the areas of plant maintenance or Millwright certification is a definite asset. * Strong problem-solving skills, effective planning and organizational skills. * Good interpersonal and communication skills including both written and verbal. * Able to address things quickly and efficiently with a sense of urgency and escalation. * Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced organization and able to work to tight deadlines. **Physical Demands:** Required to carry out routine, repetitive tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, lifting, packing, stacking, bending, climbing / descending / going under or on equipment as well as some physical lifting. Regularly exposed to noise, temperature change and lubricants and vibration.
