Our client, a global company, is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Gas Turbine Engine Mechanics Or Component Mechanics) to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity.Duties & Responsibilities: Disassembly, assembly, inspection and test stand work on gas turbine engines or on aeronautical components/accessories including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel & oil and pneumatic components/accessories Implement work plans by following instructions from various sourcesTest and measuring equipment to conduct workDetermine and report defects on parts, assemblies, engines, and accessoriesCertify accuracy of work and documentationParts orderingOther duties as requiredRequirements:Recognized apprenticeship to Transport Canada standards. International candidates must have foreign aircraft technician license or related trade certificate1+ year experience in engine or component maintenance, repair and overhaulExperience with one or more of these types of engines: CF6-50/80, V2500, CFM56, CFM LEAP, PW2000Good knowledge of main standard inspection and repair in engine repairAble to work on computer systems (ex. MS Office)Intermediate knowledge of SAPAble to provide others with technical adviceSolid English communication (both written and verbal)Good interpersonal skillsAssets:Experience with engine testingExperience with avionics/electrical harnessesBackground in balancing (compressor, shafts, etc.)
