Job Description

**Job Title:** Sanitary and Stormwater Infrastructure Manager The Municipality of Lakeshore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the administration, performance, and supervision of engineering and infrastructure projects related to sanitary and stormwater systems. This role reports directly to the Division Leader Engineering & Infrastructure and requires a strong technical background in civil engineering, water resource management, and stormwater design. Responsibilities include conducting hydraulic modeling analyses for wastewater and drainage infrastructure using specialized software, offering technical guidance on storm and sanitary system operations, providing technical feedback on various development projects, including sewer systems and stormwater management facilities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing sewer inspection reports, overseeing condition assessments of storm and sanitary infrastructure, collaborating with other divisions to ensure the successful implementation of mitigation programs, and preparing technical reports and conducting design reviews related to flooding, drainage, and infrastructure resiliency. The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resource Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, water resource management, and stormwater design. A Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng) or eligibility for licensing within 6 months is also required. Previous experience with stormwater management, storm and sanitary design and analysis, and flood mitigation is essential. Familiarity with Federal and Provincial Legislation concerning municipal engineering is also necessary. Proven experience in establishing professional relationships and effective communication skills are essential.
