Job Title: HSSE Investigation and Learning Specialist About the Role: This is a challenging opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of HSSE behaviour and culture in operations and maintenance. We are seeking an experienced professional with extensive knowledge in the application of HSSE manuals, processes, and procedures to create injury-free operations in hazardous environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support incident investigations using causal learning methodology Coach and mentor frontline teams and leaders on incident learning and prevention Manage investigation competency development for facilitators Analyze HSSE data, identify trends and failed barriers, and recommend improvements Support regulatory reporting and ensure documentation compliance Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, contractors, and external networks Develop high-quality learning materials and reflective learning sessions Qualifications: 10+ years HSSE experience in industrial, petrochemical, or large project environments LNG experience is considered an asset Post-secondary education in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Skilled in incident investigations and learning methodologies (Causal Learning preferred) Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment with evolving operations Experience analyzing human and system-level failures Additional Requirements: Legally entitled to work in Canada Valid driver''s license Ability to work outdoors at heights, and in confined spaces Pass background checks, medical, and drug/alcohol testing Willing to be part of an on-call rotation and work flexible hours during critical phases
