We are a Drug Preparation Premises in Mississauga/Oakville, ON providing hospitals, clinics, and physicians offices with sterile compounded preparations. Our facility employs a variety of experts including trained pharmacists, technicians, chemists, and microbiologists.We currently have multiple Full-Time Permanent opportunities for a Cleanroom Production Technicians.Summary of Duties:Responsibilities include tasks such as sterile product preparation: bulk IV admixtures, syringes and and bags utilizing aseptic techniquePerforming the necessary mathematical calculations and preparing compounded products, operating specialized equipment used in drug preparation and packaging, accurate and detailed record keepingOther Technician duties include: ordering and receiving of drugs and supplies, and lab support functions (picking/staging orders, visual inspection, completing batch record documentation)Qualifications:Experience or aptitude in aseptic medication preparationPreferred: BSc in Science related fieldsAlternate Preferred: current licensure by the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, a graduate of a CCAPP Accredited Pharmacy Technician Education program leading to licensure as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, or nearing completion of the process and exams to become a licensed and Regulated Pharmacy Technician.Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environmentExcellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task including helping finish work tasks when the primary task has been completed.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and create a positive working atmosphereDetail-orientedSelf-motivated and able to take initiativeReliable Shifts: Monday to Saturday, 8-hour shift times begin between 5am and 9pmStatus: Permanent residents and Canadian citizens only at this time
