Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Associate Industry: Oil and Gas Locations: 2 openings in Spruce Grove, AB 2 openings in Nisku, AB Contract Duration: 12 months (with possible extension) Pay Rate: C$25 to C$26 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) Position Summary: We are hiring on behalf of our client in the oil and gas industry for multiple Maintenance Associate roles. The Maintenance Associate will support critical maintenance operations to ensure the on-time delivery and optimal performance of equipment in line with operational demand. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality. These positions are based in either Spruce Grove or Nisku, AB and offer an opportunity to work in a structured, growth-oriented environment with long-term potential. Key Responsibilities: Perform assigned maintenance tasks under the supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician Support the execution of the Maintenance Program and follow defined procedures to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability Accurately record maintenance activities in the companys Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems Follow all company and division-specific standards and operating procedures Participate in continuous improvement (CI) efforts to enhance maintenance productivity, reduce costs, and increase equipment availability Build and maintain technical competencies through the TLM Competency Management System Qualifications: Experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical environments preferred (training provided) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety and operational procedures Reliable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Effective communication and documentation skills Physically able to perform hands-on work in an industrial setting Commitment to full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week) Additional Details: Work is primarily performed in a field or workshop setting within the oil and gas sector All necessary training, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided These roles offer a structured pathway for technical growth and potential contract extension based on performance
