Job description Job Summary The Line Mechanic will be responsible in helping to maintain and repair multiple lines in timely fashion while following all safety rules and regulations. Responsibilities Troubleshooting/repairs of processing and packaging equipment. Lubrication of equipment at predetermined frequency. Mechanical knowledge of power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics. Look for root cause of repetitive problems and solve. Work with supervisors for continuous improvement of process equipment operation. Record of activities in Maintenance Log. Inform storekeeper when stock of critical parts is low. Prepare Withdrawal Form when removing parts from the Storeroom. Remove parts and pipes for sanitation/cleaning and re-assemble for next production run. All processing and equipment changeovers. May work in extreme temperature conditions (hot, cold, humid). Operational knowledge of all equipment in plant. Understand and adhere to all Plant Food, Health & Safety Policies. Follow all GMP, Food Safety, Sanitation Principles to ensure food safety of plant and equipment. Requirements - Minimum 2 Years of experience in manufacturing facility. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients effectively. Note: Candidate should be eligible to work in Canada with valid permits.
