**Working Title:** Payroll/Scheduler, Full Time Temporary,. **Employment Status:** Temporary - 12month contract with opportunity to extend! **Starting Hourly Rate:** $26.00 per hour **Address:** 9080, 159 Street Surrey BC V4N5T6 **New Hire Schedule:** Thursday to Monday: Shifts vary: 9am-5pm & 6.30am-2.30pm **Required Experience:** Strong understanding of HR Principles and Time Management Systems (Time & Attendance) and proven in-depth knowledge of Employment Standards Act (ESA), collective agreements management, and best practices for payroll administration. Click here for This is Marquise Hospitality video! **Job Summary** --------------- Now, if you were to come on board as our **Payroll/Scheduler**, wed ask you to do the following for us: Payroll and Benefits administration including: * Enter payroll information for supervisor, administrative and hourly employees * Process payroll adjustments, status change forms. * Post seniority lists as per collective agreement. * Liaise with central Compass support staff to trouble shoot benefit issues and payroll * Assist Manager/supervisors with WCB claims and reports * Coordinate New Hire paperwork with HR, payroll, benefits & criminal checks Scheduling: * Post hourly associate schedules on weekly basis. * Process vacation requests; track vacation entitlement and schedule replacement staff. * Replace all calls for sick, late, no show, vacation, LOA, Union leave, etc * Maintain phone lists for all staff * Record, track and maintain call-out procedure and call-out documentation as per the collective agreement Administration: * Collection, revise and post all hourly positions as per collective agreement * Send posting information to the Union * Track and invoice the Union for granted Union leave Think you have what it takes to be our **Payroll/Scheduler**?
