We have a strong presence across North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin American countries. Role Description This is a contract role for an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Officer. The OHS Officer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of health and safety protocols on site. The tasks include conducting risk assessments, developing and enforcing safety procedures, providing training to employees, and handling workplace incidents. This role is on-site and located in Maple Ridge, BC. Qualifications * Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. * Minimum of one year of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. * Strong knowledge of Canada Occupational Health and Safety and WorkSafe BC Regulation. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Certification in First Aid, WHMIS, and other safety-related programs (preferred).
