This hybrid role combines frontline administrative responsibilities with facilitating access to learning materials both physical and digital in a modern environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to supporting staff and visitors within a welcoming and secure Catholic educational community. **Key Responsibilities****:** ***Frontline Services Facilitator******:*** * Operate telephone system; greet and direct visitors professionally * Monitor Remote Access Control & Visitor management system * Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and department correspondence * Maintain departmental records, scheduling, and documentation * Provide administrative support to multiple department leaders * Prepare reports, presentations, and documents using Microsoft Office, Canva and Google * Manage office supply inventory and general administrative workflows ***Learning*** ***Resource******s******Facilitator******:*** * Assist staff in navigating the available digital and print resources * Support cataloging, circulation, and processing of learning materials * Monitor and report on resource usage and make recommendations for resources within our Catholic schools that align with educational standards and current pedagogical practices * Contribute to the development of a modern, dynamic, digital learning resource centre * Ensure compliance with copyright laws and digital resource policies * Assist with proper records management in compliance with Board policies including the accurate, secure and effective management of information and records received and produced by the organization ***Required Qualifications*** ***and Skills******:*** * Two-year post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, Library and Information Technology, or related field * Minimum one (1) year of experience in a digital or administrative environment * Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs (intermediate/advanced) * Demonstrated experience with digital tools, databases, and web-based resources * Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload * Outstanding communication and active listening skills * Superior interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, with the ability to resolve inquiries efficiently * Innate professionalism, initiative, and good judgment * Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information ***Preferred Qualifications*** ***and Skills******:*** * 13 years of experience in an educational or library environment * Familiarity with the Ontario Curriculum and Global Competencies * Experience with digital learning commons or educational resource centers * Knowledge of digital databases used in educational settings * Understanding of technology integration policies and copyright law and the use of social media * Proficiency in cataloging and resource management systems Qualified applicants who wish to be considered for this position are asked to providea detailed cover letter, a resume and three professional references via *Apply* *To* *Education* posting number **3944606.** Applications will be received via *Apply* *To* *Education* until **4:30 p.m.** **May 23****, 2025.** Shawn Fitzsimmons, Chair Paula Mann, Director of Education The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is committed to diversity and inclusion.
