This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of top-tier economic forecasts and analyses that shape policy decisions impacting Ontario''s forest products sector. Join us and make a tangible impact on the future of Ontario''s forest sector! **Please Note:** This position involves occasional travel within Ontario and internationally. **About Us:** The Forest Economics Section (FES) provides sound policy and socioeconomic analysis in matters affecting Ontario''s forest industry and emerging forest bioeconomy. The section is responsible for administering Ontario''s timber pricing system, leading international trade issues affecting the forest products sector and developing policies and programs to encourage increased forest resource utilization within the forest bioeconomy. FES monitors economic and business trends and updates annual forestry statistics including forestry sector employment, revenue, GDP and exports.
