Job Description

POSITION: PLANT OPERATORThis position is responsible for daily operation and maintenance activities while meeting production targets and adhering to stringent safety, environmental and regulatory compliance. This is a safety sensitive position to support field operations and performance.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting to the Operations Specialists and/or designate.Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:· Ensure all Greenfire Resources safety requirements are met or exceeded.· Provide operational input to plant operational efficiency initiatives.· Learn the layout, purpose and operating parameters of each system.· Utilize and develop training manuals, Safe Operating practices and procedures.· Participate in team safety meetings and follow up on assigned items.· Performing safe start-up and shut down of equipment by following proper procedures.· Performing regular testing on product and water samples.· Performing safety checks on equipment, including conducting and completing safe work permits, reports and investigations.· Ensuring equipment is safely isolated for maintenance work by following proper safe isolation procedures to ensure safe working environment.· Promoting safety awareness.· Participate in planned inspections of the work areas.· Troubleshooting equipment problems and initiating repair notifications.· Reviews/prepares safe work documentation for day-to-day maintenance work.· Assisting with special projects.· Performs other duties and responsibilities as requiredREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET:· Minimum of a grade 12 diploma.
