Senior Recruiter Location: Remote (Global) Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week Department: Human Resources Reports To: VP, Global Talent Acquisition What You Put In Is What You Get Out At Anime Universe, recruiting isnt a back-office functionits how we scale imagination, story, and world-class creative-tech. As a Senior Recruiter, youll play a key role in identifying and closing the next generation of elite talent across anime production, R&D, blockchain, and gaming. Why This Role Matters This is not a coordination job. You will own full-cycle searches for high-impact roles and collaborate directly with founders, hiring managers, and the VP of Global Talent to build teams that align with our mission and culture. We move fast, hire globally, and expect precision, storytelling, and strategic hustle in every interaction. What Youll Do Source, engage, and close candidates across multiple disciplines (technical, creative, and operational) Write, post, and distribute high-conviction job descriptions aligned to our standards Conduct async screenings, design role scorecards, and run structured interview loops Work in partnership with VP, Recruitment, HR colleagues and partners across the orgnanization Craft tailored outreach messaging that reflects our creative mission and async-native values Ensure an engaging, fair, and transparent experience for all applicants Act as the primary point of contact for candidates from first touch to offer Partner with hiring managers to scope roles and define success profiles Run fast-paced, sprint-style recruiting processes for time-sensitive searches Share weekly funnel and performance data with internal stakeholders Use our ATS and async stack (LinkedIn, Indeed etc.) to manage candidate pipelines Support improvements to recruiting operations and metrics Help maintain role templates, evaluation rubrics, and hiring records What You Bring 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth, startup, or creative/tech orgs Strong sourcing and closing skillsespecially for passive talent and outbound campaigns Experience recruiting across technical (engineering, product) and/or creative (design, animation, content) roles Familiarity with async-first and remote work environments Ability to own processes independently and handle multiple open roles simultaneously Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills High bias for action, attention to detail, and candidate care Experience recruiting for Web3, gaming, animation, or frontier-tech companies Background working in a global, cross-cultural talent environment Comfort with equity and token-based compensation structures Compensation & Culture Equity: Role-based equity package Token Rewards: Potential based on contribution and legal clearance Salary: Equity-first; salary unlocks via company revenue milestones Culture: Remote-first, async-native, high-autonomy and high-trust Our Promise We dont just fill roleswe find believers.
