Our team of health care professionals is focused on providing specialized Emergency care and urgent treatments in a community hospital setting. The Unit Clerk is an integral member of the ED team. You will play an important role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. A course in Medical Terminology is required. Must have at least two to three years directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Additional Required Qualifications:Acute care experience as a unit clerk in a hospital setting required.Able to work quickly and efficiently in a stressful environment required.Ability to represent Covenant Health professionally in all interactions required.Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately required.Preferred Qualifications:Recent Emergency experience within the last 2 years preferred.Hiring RequirementsThe following must be provided prior to your first day of work:Security Screening : Satisfactory criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search (as applicable based on position).
