We are looking for a passionate, positive and technically oriented Full Stack Engineer who is interested in working on a cutting edge veterinary application that utilizes the latest Ai technologies. We are working to transform the way veterinary hospitals care for patients and we are looking for team members that want to contribute to that vision (learn more at www.fydodx.com). This role will report to the Engineering Teams technical lead, but work closely with the CEO, CTO and subject matter experts. The role will be working with Front End, Back End and Large Language Model technologies. Must be both a self-starter and team-oriented and excited to work with Project Managers, Doctors, Ai Engineers and Data Scientists. This role has a tremendous opportunity to grow with the company either toward a technical path of Architect or Technical Lead or toward a management path overseeing a growing team.Experience and Job QualificationsFull Stack Development of an Ai-driven web application for desktop and mobileSolid knowledge working with Python and PostgreSQL databasesExperience with Vue.js and CapacitorExtensive experience with GCP and CloudrunExperience with FastAPIExperience with event driven architectureExperience in Applied Backend Dev Set-ups &/or Applied Data ScienceExperience submitting to the Apple and Android App storesA degree in Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of professional software engineering experienceAbility to communicate effectively with developers of all disciplines and technical skillAbility to self-teach and meet demanding deadlinesMust have experience with GITHUBLocation, Salary & BenefitsThis can be either an in-office or remote, work-from-home position with the requirement for in-person meetings up to twice quarterly.
