Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Manager or Sr. Manager to join our offshore delivery team supporting Canadian clients in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365. As a D365 Functional Architect Purchasing & Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and optimizing supply chain and procurement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role will interface closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and implement tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and visibility across supply chain functions.Key Responsibilities:1. Solution Design and ImplementationLead the functional design and implementation of D365 SCM solutions across procurement, inventory, and logistics modules.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.Configure and optimize Dynamics 365 SCM for procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.2. End-to-End Supply Chain & Procurement ManagementDevelop integrated solutions from supplier onboarding to distribution.Configure vendor management, sourcing, procurement workflows, and purchase order processing.Optimize inventory and warehouse operations.3. Business Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities for process automation and efficiency within Dynamics 365.Provide strategic guidance for inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, and logistics.4. Stakeholder EngagementFacilitate workshops and meetings to capture requirements and ensure alignment.Act as the primary liaison for purchasing and supply chain topics throughout the project lifecycle.5. System Integration & Data ManagementSupport integration of D365 SCM with ERP, CRM, finance, and third-party tools.Oversee migration of legacy supply chain data into Dynamics 365.Collaborate with technical teams for seamless data integration.6. Testing & Quality AssuranceDevelop test plans and manage UAT cycles.Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing phases.7. Training & SupportCreate training documentation and deliver sessions for end users.Provide post-go-live support and enhancements.Maintain a knowledge base for user reference.8. Continuous Improvement & InnovationStay updated with Dynamics 365 SCM advancements and recommend improvements.Leverage Power Platform and Microsoft 365 tools for further optimization.9. Project Management SupportHelp manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.Bridge business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.10. Vendor and Stakeholder ManagementEngage with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution.Address issues related to finance and procurement workflows.Serve as the point of contact between users and technical teams.11. Mentorship & LeadershipMentor junior consultants and guide their professional development.Promote best practices and lead by example within the team.Required Qualifications:79 years of experience in Dynamics 365 (Purchasing, SCM, MML modules) with hands-on delivery in client-facing roles.Proven success in implementing and optimizing D365 SCM across procurement, inventory, and logistics.Experience in large-scale SCM projects in sectors like manufacturing, retail, or distribution.Functional Expertise:Deep knowledge of procurement, vendor management, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics in D365 SCM.Strong understanding of industry best practices in supply chain and procurement.Technical Skills:Familiarity with system integrations, data migration, and API concepts.Understanding of D365 customization, workflows, and reporting.Proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate.Soft Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical thinking with a focus on process improvement.Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
