Your Role: Driving Growth Through Meaningful Conversations As a Business Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to initiate high-volume outreach to employers across Canada via phone calls. This is not a passive or administrative role its an action-oriented position where your voice is the first point of contact between Hirez and potential clients. You will be reaching out to businesses that may not yet be aware of the hiring support they need and it will be your job to start those conversations, introduce our services, qualify leads, and book meetings for our recruitment or sales team. Your ability to engage, build interest, and move a conversation forward will directly contribute to the growth of our company. Key Responsibilities Make 70100 outbound calls per day to potential employer clients in a structured and strategic manner. Confidently initiate conversations with business owners, HR personnel, and hiring managers to explain how our recruitment services can solve their staffing challenges. Understand hiring patterns, identify whether the company is eligible for local or foreign worker support, and pre-qualify leads accordingly. Book qualified meetings and discovery calls for the internal recruitment or business development teams. Follow up on marketing-generated leads and inbound inquiries to keep prospects engaged. Log all outreach, lead activity, and status updates in our CRM system (Zoho). Collaborate with marketing to refine call scripts and improve outreach effectiveness. Meet and exceed daily/weekly call and conversion targets. Who You Are Youre a natural communicator. People trust your voice, and you know how to carry a conversation with confidence and professionalism. You enjoy connecting with people and arent afraid of hearing "no" in fact, it motivates you to refine your approach and improve. 1 year of experience in a role involving high-volume calling whether thats in sales, customer engagement, telemarketing, fundraising, or recruitment. Comfortable making large volumes of calls while maintaining a strong energy level throughout the day. Organized and goal-oriented you like working towards clear targets and measuring your success. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce is an asset. Experience in staffing, recruitment, or immigration-related services is a bonus, but not essential.
