We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Country Manager to lead Bitpaces growth and operations in Canada and to scale up to a more dominant position in the Canadian market. This pivotal role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring high levels of compliance, and driving the business toward ambitious growth targets.The Country Manager will lead with a strategic mindset and focus on operational efficiency and expansion. You will report directly to the CEO.What youll be doing: Leadership & Strategy Development:Shape and execute the long-term strategy for Canada with a focus on growth and revenue generation.Provide leadership across all departments, fostering strong collaboration and accountability.Ensure alignment of operations and initiatives with business goals, working closely with the CEO.Operational Oversight & Growth:Oversee operations, ensuring seamless execution and consistent quality in servicesDevelop and implement strategies for increasing revenue , with quarterly reviews of performanceDrive business development initiatives and work closely with marketing and sales teams to expand the client base.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure total compliance with employment law, financial regulations, MSB and company policies.Manage risk and governance, ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of operational compliance.Client & Stakeholder Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and external stakeholdersAct as the primary representative of the company when engaging with regulatory bodies, and key business partners.Experience wed love:Proven experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager or senior executive within FintechMust have experience with MSB (Money Services Business) in Canada and understand the regulatory requirements that it entailsExperience with crypto or demonstrable willingness to explore cryptoDemonstrated track record of growing businesses, meeting revenue targets, and expanding operations both in Canada and internationally.Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building, mentorship, and performance managementFinancial acumen with experience in managing budgets and financial forecastingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
