JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is seeking a Logistics Professional & Billing Specialist to join our client, a leader in transportation, warehousing and distribution. In this role, the specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of freight services by applying rate structures, auditing shipment data, and verifying documentation in line with contractual agreements. The position supports logistics operations by coordinating with partner carriers, validating routing and load data, and resolving billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced with TMS systems, and capable of maintaining clean billing workflows and audit-ready documentation.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2+ years of experience in a logistics, transportation, or warehousing environment (office-based roles preferred) Strong understanding of freight billing, rating practices, and accessorial charges Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., TruckMate, McLeod, Rose Rocket, etc.) Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) High level of accuracy, organizational ability, and attention to detail Strong communication and problem-solving skillsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Familiarity with LTL, FTL, cross-border, and warehousing services is considered an asset
