Job Title

Responsibilities:Oversee shift maintenance operations and supervise hourly maintenance employees.Maximize utilization of workers, equipment, and materials in alignment with cost and quality standards.Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and safety standards.Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.Manage preventive maintenance programs and coordinate with vendors for repair items or parts.Direct and guide tradespeople to meet production and maintenance objectives.Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions as needed.Support programs related to safety, facility maintenance, grounds, and equipment installations.Communicate effectively within a unionized manufacturing environment.Administer the Collective Agreement and enforce company policies, including employee discipline when required.Requirements:Valid 433A (Millwright) or 442A (Electrician) license.Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance within a manufacturing facility.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Knowledge of ERP, CMMS, and MRP systems.Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Adaptability to evolving technology and equipment environments.Degree in Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on maintenance experience.Able to work in night shift.
