LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationThe successful candidate will work remotely for the duration of the contractKey TasksBe responsible for finalizing and maintaining a project plan and managing all aspects of the project to ensure good governance and the monitoring and management of riskKeep the project on time and budget and provide reporting and guidance to Senior LeadershipWork in tandem and collaboratively with the Back Office Refresh Project Team, Back Office Refresh Executive Project Sponsors, the Senior Management TeamImplement and work with consultant agency and internal process owners and stakeholders on large-scale modernization/transformation of systems/tools to perform back office functions and operationsImplement a Financial, Procurement, Payroll and Human Resource Information System platform solutionProvide Organizational Change ManagementManage large complex transformation projectsManage a diverse team of consultants and client team membersProvide executive presence and brief board members, senior executivesManage project timelines and risks in a proactive and solution-oriented mannerEffectively run PM team meetingsDeploy IT solutions within the organizationDeploy readiness planning, tracking and reportingKey QualificationsProject Management experience implementing large scale modernization/transformation of systems/tools for back office functionsExperience implementing a Financial, Procurement, Payroll and Human Resource Information System platform solutionExperience with systems integration projects, including experience integrating a new system with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft and/or other IT systemsQualificationsProven experience in dealing with vendors including consulting firmsAbility to drive results and hold vendors and consulting firms accountable for deliverablesExperience in the successful implementation of Change ManagementExperience developing appropriate project management documentation and monitoring toolsExcellent communication skillsAbility to effectively run team meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action itemsExcellent understanding of and experience in project phases of executionExperience in deployment readiness planning, tracking and reportingAssetsPMP certificationChange Management certificationAbout LeverageTek Staffing SolutionsFounded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
