ERG Job Opportunity: Engineering Project ManagerERG is a research and consulting firm supporting federal, state, and commercial clients with multidisciplinary teams skilled in engineering, science, economics, public health, IT, and communications. We seek highly motivated individuals to join our vibrant, flexible environment, capable of prioritizing, performing, and communicating effectively in fast-paced settings.We are hiring experienced engineering project managers for a full-time onsite role at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head, supporting facility design, renovation, troubleshooting, repair, and construction. The position involves interaction with ERG personnel at NSF Indian Head and offices in Indian Head, MD, and Fairfax and Arlington, VA. Indian Head is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project schedules and tracking tools using Microsoft Excel and Project, including budgets, staffing plans, and calendars.Collaborate with management, engineers, contractors, and vendors to develop technical packages and coordinate project plans.Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders, including the Infrastructure Division and Customer Advocate Office.Manage project costs, analyze budgets, address concerns, and report potential issues.Present project performance data and conclusions to management.Support onsite planning activities and escort teams as needed.Lead and assist in project planning meetings.Distribute documents and updates to stakeholders.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0.At least 5 years of engineering project management experience; federal contract and facility design experience preferred.Proficiency in reviewing technical data packages and engineering drawings.Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, including scheduling dependencies and critical path analysis.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, pivot tables, and complex spreadsheets.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in teams.PMP certification is preferred.Ability to obtain or possess a DoD Secret security clearance.ERG offers competitive salaries and benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a 401k plan, profit sharing, an Employee Assistance Program, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, and more.
