Jonas is a 100% owned subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., headquartered in Toronto and traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and is part of the TSX 60 Index.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAs a key member of the team within the PYXiS portfolio (and reporting to the VP of M&A, you will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing and executing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies:Identify vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics;Gather, analyse and present target company financial information and develop accurate valuation models;Engage shareholders and financial advisors in a meaningful dialogue maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity with internal and external stakeholdersDrive all stages of the M&A process including drafting letters of intent, conducting due diligence, prepare investment memorandums, and help draft and negotiate final purchase agreementsWork with other team members across HR, tax, legal, security and operations to conduct diligence and prepare the business for integrationYou will have an opportunity to add value through the entire M&A cycle, working with a driven, high-energy M&A team and senior leaders within our organization.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Experience at a top-tier accounting firm, consulting firm, investment bank, with preference given to those with an accounting degree and audit experienceExcellent academic performance in an undergraduate degree and rated as a top performer at your current employerStrong Excel skills, proficient in building complex models and demonstrated skills in decision making and problem solvingStrong time management skills, detail-oriented and able to grasp new concepts quickly while dealing with initial ambiguity and imperfect dataAble to work variable hours with high career ambitions to grow in the M&A group, and wider organization as a leader of tomorrowAdvanced verbal and written communication skills with the confidence and polish to speak with Senior Executives, prospects, lawyers, accountants and investment bankers#LI-PP1 Business Unit: Corporate Fitness - M&A Scheduled Weekly Hours: 37.5 Number of Openings Available: 1 Worker Type: Regular More About Jonas Software:Jonas Software is the leading provider of enterprise management software solutions to the Country and Golf Clubs, Foodservice, Construction, Fitness & Sports, Attractions, Salon & Spa, Education, Radiology/Laboratory Information Systems, and Product Licensing industries.
