Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our client''''s warehouse operations team in Delta, BC. In this role you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all goods are accurately processed, damage-free, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, and hazardous goods handling. Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (based on experience) Location: Delta, BC Shift: Monday to Friday| 8am - 5pm Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 6-8 weeks with possibility of extension Here''''s why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Perform i nitial verification of identification and physical condition for incoming and outgoing shipments. Process and confirm all shipping and receiving documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Handle and process hazardous goods in compliance with DOT regulations. Validate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemical shipments (incoming and outgoing). Investigate and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies and implement corrective solutions. Maintain accurate inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Receive incoming materials and restock warehouse inventory. Perform daily outbound shipping activities including picking, packing, labeling, and dispatching orders. Demonstrate flexibility and effectiveness when adapting to changing work environments or processes. Identify operational improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and measure outcomes. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and contribute to overall warehouse performance. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, and resolving shipment discrepancies. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with courier companies and shipping systems. Familiarity with packaging and material handling equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, box tapers, etc.). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift 35-50 lbs consistently throughout the shift. Capable of standing and walking for the entirety of an 8-hour shift. Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movement.
