Additional information about the Company can be found at Job Summary The machine setup technician at our Windsor Mold Tooling facility supports the machining department by completing workpiece setup on CNC machines, material handling using overhead crane and forklift, completing basic machine maintenance, housekeeping, and other general labor duties. Job Responsibilities Complete and verify machine setups to provided instructions. Position and secure workpieces on FCS, holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures, using clamps and wrenches. Move completed jobs to the next scheduled task location. Perform general housekeeping of the plant and equipment. Handle materials using overhead crane and forklift. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor. Communicate effectively with colleagues, follow instructions accurately, and work independently. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Preferred experience with CNC machine setup and operation. Knowledge of FCS Modular work holding systems is an advantage. Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required. Ability to perform under pressure and work independently. Crane and forklift experience considered an asset. Must understand and work in both imperial and metric systems. Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills. Strong technical abilities. High professionalism and communication skills. Ability to follow procedures and safety policies. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Trustworthiness, accountability, and reliability. Self-motivation and teamwork skills.
