The Client will not provide any visa sponsorship.Opportunity: One of our Food Industry clients based out in Concord, ON is looking for a 'Maintenance Technician (Electrician OR Millwright)' for a fulltime opportunity.Job Details:Position: Maintenance ElectricianLocation: Concord, ONPosition Type: Fulltime roleJob Summary:As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for contributing to the companys operational performance through maintenance program compliance and work order scheduling including reactive and preventative maintenance for technical and non-technical components.Primary Responsibilities:Understand and lead compliance with both Health and Safety and Food Safety practices.Attending breakdown call. Independently troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and electrical issues.Escalate recurring problems to supervisor and work on eliminating them.Perform minor repairs, equipment set up, change over, overhaul, fabrication as needed.Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including food mixer, slab forming machine, horizontal wrapper, robotic pick and place system, case packer, tunnel oven, conveyors, etc.Provide technical assistant / advice in Preventive Maintenance optimization effort.Assist outside contractors and ensure GMP policies are being adhered to.Performs work in accordance with established maintenance processes and practices including but not limited to recording work done, recording data for analysis, logging spare parts consumed, cleaning up work area, etc.Participate in cross functional continuous improvement initiative.Responsible for the highest standards of housekeeping & safety in all aspects of the job.Other duties as assigned.This position reports directly to the Maintenance SupervisorRequirementsCertified Provincial Electricians or Millwright Ticket (442A or 433A or 309D)Working experience with equipment such as vertical wrapper, horizontal wrappers, robotics pick and place, tunnel oven is an assetKnowledge of PLC, robotics, HMIs, and controls (Allen Bradley) preferredAbility to read technical drawings and electrical schematicsProven machining skills using lathes, milling, and drill pressRigging and hoisting experience is an assetFlexibility to work afternoons and weekendsHands on working experience with the following is preferred1.
